Neighborhood Watch Program

The National Sheriff’s Association obtained funding from the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration in 1972 to create the National Neighborhood Watch Program to get citizens involved in crime detection and prevention in their own neighborhoods.  This program allows citizens to be the ‘eyes and ears’ of local law enforcement within their own community.  For more information on the Neighborhood Watch program, click on the links below.
