Detective Bureau

The Detective Bureau is responsible for investigating crimes occurring Calhoun County. Detectives conduct follow-up investigations on reported offenses, initiate investigations based on information or evidence received, recover stolen property, identify and preserve evidence, and maintain organized case files and databases related to criminal activity.

The Bureau also assists other law enforcement agencies when investigations in neighboring jurisdictions can benefit from their assistance.

In addition to routine case assignments, detectives handle complex and long-term investigations that require sustained effort and coordination.
